Begin in Manhattan, home to Kansas State University and the Flint Hills Discovery Center. Fuel up and grab coffee at Radina’s Bakehouse before heading south on KS-177.

Key Stops & Highlights

1. Blue Earth Plaza. Stop for photos with the iconic "Prairie Passage" sculptures, massive metal bison and prairie grasses near Tuttle Creek Lake.
2. Alma, KS. Explore the “City of Native Stone” with its preserved 1800s architecture. Visit Wabaunsee County Historical Museum or browse Alma Art & Frame for local crafts.
3. Volland Store. A revitalized 1913 general store turned art gallery. Admire contemporary Midwest-inspired works and snap photos of the rustic prairie backdrop.
